Speech Pathologist
Sun Young (Sun) Son is the Director of Speech Rehab and Swallowing, and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. She completed a Master of Speech Pathology at Charles Sturt University and has experience across a range of community settings, including Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF) in NSW and VIC, Supported Independent Living (SIL) residences, and home, school, and early education settings. Sun has undertaken additional training in MDTP, LSVT Loud, PROMPT, Sounds-Write, and DTTC. She is passionate about providing outcome-driven therapy and educating clients' support networks to holistically support individuals and the important people in their lives. Her special interests include supporting people with swallowing difficulties, educating families and staff on mealtime safety, and improving functional communication of individuals with communication challenges. Outside of work, she continues to upskill her clinical knowledge and keeps up to date with current research.
